Rosgeo to explore northern Kuril Islands prospecting for gold

YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, May 4 (PRIME) -- Russian state geological exploration company Rosgeo plans to explore the Paramushir Island, one of the Kuril Islands, and the water area around it in the coming field season searching for mineral deposits, including gold, the Far Eastern department of the company said in a statement on Friday.

The company plans to conduct the exploration until the end of 2019.
